Terms of Use
Last Updated: 26.10.2026 · Contact: legal.aveldo@hotmail.com
These Terms govern your use of Aveldo, a gym workout and progress tracking app for iPhone published by Christos Alexis Fantino. By downloading or using the app you agree to them. If you do not, please do not use Aveldo.

1. The app
Aveldo lets you record workouts, exercises and sets, follow your routines, and charts what that work adds up to over time: your strength trend, how consistently you train, how much each muscle group has gained, and how recovered it is, and lets you add friends and share training plans with them. Aveldo Coach, a chat about your own training answered by an AI model, is a beta feature: it may change, be limited, or be withdrawn at any time. Your training is stored on your device. If you are an Aveldo member, a copy is kept on our server and synced to your other devices when the app opens. What is stored where is set out in the Privacy Policy.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old to use Aveldo, and old enough to make a purchase under the rules of your App Store region. If you are a minor, use the app with the involvement of a parent or guardian.
3. Identity and your account
Aveldo is used with an account, created by signing in with your Apple Account or your Google account, and you choose a name and a unique username for it. The username cannot be changed once claimed. You are responsible for the account you sign in with and for what happens under it: keep it secure, do not share it, and do not use another person's. You can sign out at any time, and you can delete the account, together with everything we hold about you, from Settings inside the app.
4. Licence
We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use Aveldo on devices you own or control, in line with Apple's Licensed Application End User Licence Agreement. You may not copy, sell, sublicense, reverse engineer or redistribute the app, except where that restriction is prohibited by law.
5. Aveldo Membership
Aveldo is free to download and use. The free version includes unlimited workout logging, up to four routines, unlimited custom exercises, the automatic rest timer, workout reminders, weekly streaks, the post workout comparison, the last 90 days of progress history and the basic progress and body insights, friends and friend streaks, and sharing training plans, with no advertising. An optional upgrade, Aveldo Membership, adds unlimited routines, automatic weight increases, routine readiness, unlimited progress history, the advanced progress and body insights, cloud backup and sync, and CSV export and import. The membership is bought in one of three ways:
- Monthly, an auto-renewing subscription billed every month.
- Yearly, an auto-renewing subscription billed every twelve months.
- Lifetime, a single payment that does not renew and does not expire.
All three unlock exactly the same features. Nothing is held back from the cheaper one, and no feature is added to the dearer one.
- The price shown in the app is the live App Store price for your region, in your own currency. It is the price that governs, not any figure quoted elsewhere.
- Payment is taken by Apple and charged to your Apple Account at confirmation. The purchase is tied to that Apple Account.
- Subscriptions renew automatically unless auto-renewal is switched off at least 24 hours before the current period ends. Your Apple Account is charged for renewal within the 24 hours before that.
- To cancel, or to turn off auto-renewal, open Settings on your iPhone, tap your name, then Subscriptions, and manage Aveldo there. Aveldo's own Settings has a Manage membership row that opens the same controls. We cannot cancel a subscription for you, and deleting the app does not cancel one.
- Cancelling stops the next charge. It does not shorten the period you have already paid for, which runs to its end.
- When a subscription ends, the member features lock again. Your training data, and everything free, stays exactly as it was.
- You can restore any of the three on your other devices with the same Apple Account, using Restore on the Aveldo Membership screen in the app.
- The lifetime unlock does not expire. If Aveldo is ever withdrawn from sale, an already purchased lifetime unlock remains valid on devices where it is installed.
6. Refunds
All purchases are processed by Apple, so refunds are handled by Apple under their terms, not by us. Request one through Apple's "Report a Problem" page or your purchase history. We cannot issue refunds directly. A refunded purchase, or a subscription that has lapsed, locks the member features again; your training data is unaffected.
7. Your data
Your device holds the working copy of your training. If you are an Aveldo member, Aveldo keeps a copy on our server and brings new workouts to your other devices when the app opens; treat it as a backup, not as a live sync, and keep an encrypted iPhone backup as well if your history matters to you. Without a membership, deleting the app deletes your training with it. Deleting your account deletes the server copy, permanently.
8. Acceptable use
Use Aveldo lawfully. Do not attempt to circumvent the purchase mechanism, tamper with the app, probe or disrupt our servers, or use the app or its feedback channel in any way that interferes with another person's device, account, or with Apple's services. Your name and username are seen by your friends: do not choose one that impersonates someone else or that is offensive, and do not use friend invites or shared plans to harass anyone. We may remove a name or username, or an account, that breaks this.
9. Health and training disclaimer
Aveldo is not a medical device and does not give medical or coaching advice. Every number it shows is arithmetic on what you typed in, not a measurement of your body, and none of it should be relied on to decide whether you are fit to train. That includes the weight it suggests for your next session, which is a rule applied to your last one, and the recovery figures, which are a model of the sets you logged and the time since, not a judgement about what you can lift today.
Aveldo Coach's suggestions are generated by an AI model from those same figures. The Coach is in beta: its answers can be wrong, incomplete or unsuited to you, and they are not medical, physiotherapeutic or nutritional advice. Do not change your training on its word alone; you remain responsible for how you train.
Resistance training carries a risk of injury. You are responsible for your own training decisions. Consult a qualified professional before beginning or changing a programme, particularly if you have an existing condition or injury.
10. Availability and changes
We may update, change or discontinue Aveldo or any of its features. We aim to avoid changes that would destroy existing data, but we do not guarantee that the app will always be available, compatible with future versions of iOS, or free of defects. Aveldo requires iOS 18.0 or later.
11. Intellectual property
Aveldo, its name, its logo, its design and its source code belong to Christos Alexis Fantino. The training data you enter belongs to you. We hold the server copy only to provide the service, and we claim no rights over your training whatsoever.
12. Disclaimer of warranties
Aveldo is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement, to the fullest extent permitted by law.
13. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Christos Alexis Fantino is not liable for indirect or consequential loss, for lost training data, or for injury arising from your training decisions. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the amount you paid for Aveldo Membership.
14. Apple
Apple is not a party to these Terms and has no responsibility for Aveldo. Apple is a third-party beneficiary of these Terms and may enforce them against you. Any claim relating to the app should be directed to us, not to Apple.
15. Governing law
These Terms are governed by Swiss law, with the courts of Switzerland having jurisdiction, without prejudice to mandatory consumer protections in your country of residence.
16. Changes to these Terms
Updated Terms will be published at this address with a new date. Continuing to use Aveldo after a change means you accept the revised Terms.
