Workout Consistency and Streaks

Set a weekly goal in training days and Aveldo keeps the score: the week strip on the Today screen, the streak of weeks you hit the goal, training frequency per week and total gym time. One reminder a day, at the time you choose, helps you show up.

Aveldo Today screen: the week strip with five trained days, a 12 week streak, this week 5 of 3, a recovery overview showing 44% ready to train with 5 muscle groups ready and 11 recovering, and the Start Workout card

How does Aveldo track workout consistency?

By training days against a weekly goal you set. The Today screen shows Monday to Sunday with a checkmark on each trained day, this week's count against the goal, and the streak of consecutive weeks in which the goal was met. The Progress screen adds training frequency per week and gym time over the window you pick.

The pieces

Goal, week, streak, reminder

Four small mechanisms that together answer whether you are training as often as you meant to.

Weekly goal

One to seven training days a week, chosen in setup and changeable under Profile. A day with two sessions counts once.

Week strip

Monday to Sunday on the Today screen, a checkmark on each trained day, today's ring in the accent. Swipe back to see earlier weeks.

Weekly streak

Consecutive weeks at or above the goal. It grows the moment this week's goal is met and only ends when a week closes below the goal.

Training frequency

Training days per week over the Progress window, measured against the goal.

Gym time

Total and average session duration over the window, from the moment you start a workout to the moment you finish it.

Workout reminders

One local notification a day at your chosen time, weekday and weekend times separately, on set training days or any day until the week's goal is met. Nothing else, ever.

After the workout

The recap keeps the week in view

When you finish a workout, the post workout comparison shows, beside the strength change, a This Week tile with your count against the goal and a Streak tile with the run. A week completed or a streak extended is called out once, on that screen, and nowhere else.

Frequently asked questions

How does Aveldo count a streak?

A streak is the number of consecutive weeks in which you reached your weekly goal in training days. The count goes up the moment this week's goal is met and only breaks when a week has ended below the goal, on Sunday night in a Monday first week. A week in progress never breaks a streak.

Does training twice in one day count twice?

No. The weekly goal counts training days, not workouts. Two sessions on one day are one trained day, and the week strip shows one checkmark for it.

What is training frequency in Aveldo?

Training days per week over the Progress window, shown against your weekly goal with a short note on the rhythm.

Does Aveldo send notifications?

One workout reminder a day at the time you choose, with separate times for weekdays and weekends, on your training days or, for a flexible schedule, until the week's goal is met. Nothing between sets and nothing after a workout. If you start an Aveldo Pro trial, one reminder arrives two days before it converts.

Can I change my weekly goal?

Yes. It is set during setup and can be changed under Profile at any time, from one to seven days a week.
